I began my university studies at the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University, encouraged by my parents, who are both doctors. After completing my third year, I transferred to the School of Dentistry. I made this decision—which was influenced by my older brother, who is a dentist—for several reasons, but ultimately I was drawn to the precision and perfection of the dental profession. Even as a small child, I loved playing with Legos and building models, and that laid the foundation for the manual dexterity that comes in handy in my career as a dentist.
I was so happy when I found this clinic, because My primary goal is to master microscopic root canal treatment, and everything here is in place for so I can learn from the best, using the most modern tools and the latest techniques. I really liked the clinic from the very first moment; it's a very an energetic and cheerful team.
It’s often very difficult to sit in the dentist’s chair; for many of us, even the thought of the dentist fills us with fear. When I was little, I wasn’t afraid of the dentist, but I was practically terrified of needles and shots, so I can identify very strongly with anxious patients. I think that In addition to empathy, good communication skills are also essential for alleviating fear, conversation is the best way to ease tension. But of course, humor is essential, too—it might help my patients forget, at least for a moment, where they are.
Prevention is very important to me, ...so that we can catch the initial signs of tooth decay early on and treat them with minor fillings. I focus on improving and maintaining my patients' oral hygiene through regular tartar removal and the development of a personalized oral care routine.
In addition to my work, spending quality time with my family and playing sports are very important to me. I’ve been playing competitive badminton for eight years now; during my college years, I won the college championship while representing SOTE, and I was recognized twice as both a good student and a good athlete.
