During the consultation Based on thorough examinations, we determine whether the tooth can be saved and what treatment is recommended. If you do not have a 3D CBCT scan, we can perform one at our office. A 3D CBCT scan provides much more detailed information, showing the exact extent of the inflammation and any anatomical features in three dimensions.

Warranty

In what cases does the warranty apply?

A condition of the warranty is participation in semiannual screening exams—or exams at a frequency determined by the attending physician. The final outcome of dental treatments is also influenced by the patient’s health and hygiene habits, for which the dentist naturally cannot provide any guarantees; therefore, The warranty covers the quality of the delivered gear set. For this reason, it is important to attend our biannual cleanings, during which we provide our patients with proper instruction and encouragement to maintain good oral hygiene, and we also check the condition of their dental restorations.

The warranty is valid provided that

The patient participates in the semiannual screening and cleaning,

follows the oral hygiene guidelines recommended by the dentist and the special cleaning instructions for dental prostheses,

in the event of defects arising during the technical fabrication of the dental restoration (crown, inlay, bridge, dentures, etc.).

The warranty is not valid if

the patient does not show up for the midyear checkup,

does not follow the oral hygiene guidelines recommended by their doctor,

uses the gear set improperly (drops it, hits it against something, etc.),

does not have the nighttime bite-relaxing splint recommended by their dentist made or does not wear it—resulting in the chipping of the porcelain veneers due to excessive clenching of the teeth,

long-term temporary replacements that prepare the site for implantation, but the surgery does not take place within the planned timeframe

in the case of a porcelain shell, damage caused by the shell being stretched

In root canal treatments, the prognosis varies from person to person, and recovery also depends on an individual’s ability to regenerate—even with the most meticulous dental care, no guarantees can be made.
